This is a gold tone metal buckle with darkened accents, with Licensed Design by Oregon's Les Joslin, made by Western Heritage Company, of Encampment, Wyoming, in 1987. Les Joslin is a retired US naval officer, natural resource manager, educator, artist and author. After serving twenty-two years in the United States Navy, Joslin retired in Oregon where he worked for the United States Forest Service. The buckle is in pretty decent used condition, as shown in the photos it does have some tarnish / patina, and some wear and tear from age and use. It measures approximately 3-1/4" x 2-1/2", fits a 1-1/2" wide belt and weighs about 3.6 oz.
