Assembling this membership roster has been a unique project. The Skull and Bones membership roster has been assembled using a number of sources including copies of official club membership books, tax records, Yale yearbooks and online resources. Partial membership rosters have been found online but these rosters do NOT include recent members or biographical information, especially for more recent members. Skull and Bones annually “taps” a delegation of fifteen members (with a few exceptions - ex: during some of the WW2 years and a few other years the club did not elect 15 members) of the junior class, to serve the following year. NOTE: Skull and Bones did not admit women until 1992. Membership is traditionally offered to a diverse group of highly accomplished juniors, specifically those who have demonstrated significant achievement in various academic, extra-curricular, or personal fields.
