(signed on back of brooch portion) ...natural opal chips floating in liquid within a glass orb, with the tulip style cap. It has a gold vermeil color surface but is sterling. Opal chips flash various colors depending on light & movement. This is a bit larger than the most common size. The true vintage Opalite brand is becoming more difficult to find.
