Description: Antique Signed Painting by Listed Artist George M. Hathaway 1852-1903 who specialized in paintings of Maine. This Coastal Watercolor Painting featuring cliffs and rocks, with a small building and trees on top of a cliff, and breaking Waves at Owl's Head Maine. A lot going on in such a small painting. Framed and matted with a label that had fallen off. The matte is discolored but the picture is beautiful and it looks in great condition. Never removed from the frame. The frame is about 14 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches. The site size is about 9 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches. The label is from an art and framing shop in Newark NJ. E. Lefevre Art & Gift Shop.
