One of the ROMEO-Xs more intuitive features is the MOTAC Motion Activated Illumination which activates the reticle when motion is detected, so the optic is always at the ready when you need it. The reticle itself is composed of a 2 MOA dot in the center of a 32 MOA circle, but the user can switch between the two based on preference. The reticle is projected by an open emitter onto a distortion-free aspherical glass lens, giving the user a clear sight picture for faster target acquisition and engagement. Other features of the ROMEO-X include a low deck height, as well as a back-up rear sight which can be used to co-witness with standard height iron sights.
