Description: SEWING JACKPOT~NICE GROUP OF MOSTLY UNUSED/NIP VINTAGE ITEMS IN EXCELLENT COND. A GREAT GIFT IDEA. As you can see, the vast majority of these items come in their original packaging and are VINTAGE, HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER AND HARD TO FIND SEWING RELATED ITEMS. Please note that many of these items may not be complete sets or packages of items such as needles, bobbins, buttons, fasteners, etc…. . Many of these items, are currently listed on eBay (individually by other sellers) and are selling for higher prices than you will likely pay for them by bidding on this lot. I am not going to attempt to identify and name all of the items included in this generous group of items, but some of the more noteworthy items include: ~ A fairly rare Vintage pair of WISS pinking shears, model C, that come in their original box. ~ A Vintage pair of CLEAN-CUT Brand Electric Scissors. ~ A Vintage pair of TELMARK Brand Electric Scissors. The WISS PINKING SHEARS themselves appear to be in NEAR EXCELLENT condition, and appear to have had very little, if any, use. The box for the shears is in quite good condition overall although it does show some signs of wear consistent with it’s age. We plugged in both pairs of electric scissors and they both came on and appear to be in good operable condition. We did cut some light fabric with them and they did a very good job of cutting through the fabric. This auction also includes the following additional items: ~ A LARGE LOT OF VINTAGE BUTTONS (many on/in their original packages). A review of the photographs with this listing clearly shows the classic quality of these vintage buttons. ~ A truly nice old cigar style/shaped box that is covered in a high quality fabric that still looks very nice and does not show signs of extensive wear or use. This box appears to be in very good condition; especially considering its obvious old age. This great old box has been used to store the buttons being sold in this auction. It has been stored in a sewing machine drawer for many years, and has had very little use. The box will come to the new owner filled with the buttons in this auction. Of course, the buyer can use the box however they choose once they have it. ~ A BUTTONEER (The 5-Second Button Attacher) by Dennison Co. This item appears to have had very little use and comes in its original packaging which includes its original instruction booklet. It has no defects that I am aware of, or could detect, and it would appear to be in LIKE NEW CONDITION. ~ A VINTAGE “RENCREST BUTTON BOX” made by Reynolds Industries. This good looking box is made of plastic, which has somewhat yellowed or discolored over time, but otherwise appears to be in good condition, and only shows signs of wear, consistent with its age and use. ~ A VINTAGE “BOBINBOX” made by Reynolds Industries. This good looking box is made of plastic, which has somewhat yellowed or discolored over time, but otherwise appears to be in good condition, and only shows signs of wear, consistent with its age and use. Also included in this box are 4 METAL BOBBINS. ~ Also of particular note, are multiple packages of vintage, antique sewing needles, with their original authentic decorative packaging, most of which are highly sought after by purchasers on eBay. Apparently, these typically sell for quite a bit of money. In fact, it would appear that some of the needles included this sale are items that typically sell for as much, or more than, the starting price on this entire lot of items. Most all of these items appear to be in VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT condition & only show signs of wear consistent with their age and use.
