CARD/QTY: Minchiate Seven of Coins (Denari) (Denaro) Single PRINTER: Unknown Game Pattern : Florentine Minchiate YEAR: c1820 Process : Engraved / Colour FINISH/SURFACE: Fine Stiffened Linen ERA/PERIOD: Early 19th COUNTRY: Italy / Florence The pattern is more correctly a 'Florentine Minchiate', a version of Italian tarot cards. It was consisted from a complete pack of 56 Latin-suited cards, and in addition 40 trumps or tarots, and a 'Matto'. This means that there are 19 more trumps than in most other tarot patterns. Besides the addition of trumps, some trumps have also been re-ordered. Trumps 36 to 40 do not carry their number. This is a true piece of history as each card does tell a story and also proves that owning such a magnificent deck is truly remarkable!
