Description: Set Of Six Antique German Floral & Insect Scalloped Porcelain Plates ~ *** These are so lovely! *** These plates are a bit of a mystery. Two plates have worn backstamps of the Coat Of Arms Of Sonneberg, Thuringia Germany. The floral & insect designs resemble 18th c Amsterdam Porcelain as well as some of the German makers like Frankenthal - however these backstamps do not match any of these makers. They are most likely late 19th or early 20th c reproductions of 18th c Amsterdam / German designs.
