No chips, however one saucer has a tea-stained hairline, and three cups have short/small and tight tea stained hairlines. All four cups and three saucers are solid, perfectly usable and show well, and do not rattle when flicked with a finger. One saucer rattles. All defects are photographed. As always due to age and prior usage, the item may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects.
