Description: For sale is a vintage Sega Master System. This included 1x oem control stick which has been serviced and works great, 1x 3rd party AV cable with mono audio output , 1x oem Zapper light gun (this only works on old tube type TV sets for games like Duck Hunt), 1x Genesis Model 1 power supply which works fine on this system! No games included as well as the testing display. Both the cartridge and card slot has been tested and play great! This system has typical wear such as minor scuffs and typical scratches but is in good shape for its age! I recommend using a tube type tv since the modern LCD are a hit or miss on av output on older consoles. Never insert an any SMS game into this console that you have acquired without properly cleaning the contact pins. Never blow into your cartridge. Your spit will not clean an over 30 year old cartridge and will actually corrode the pins! Dirty cartridges will contaminate the edge connector causing games not to load. There are several online tutorials on how to clean your cartridge properly. Since this console has been equipped with a new 72 pin edge connector, the pin contacts are tighter which is good. You need to use both thumbs to push the cartridge all the way in with some force and then press down. To take the cartridge out it’s is best to wiggle it side to side while you pull. This is a NTSC US/Canada format console. Note: the small display is not included and is used for demonstration purposes.
