Description: Scottish Silver Spoon with Jubilee Mark by Viner’s Ltd, Glasgow, c.1935 A beautifully made spoon hallmarked Glasgow 1935 by Viner’s Ltd. The hallmark and maker’s marks are clear (tree, lion rampant, thistle and date mark ‘m’ and maker’s mark ‘EV’). The spoon is also stamped with the Jubilee Mark commemorating the silver jubilee of George V. The spoon is in the Sandringham shape and has no monogram and is in excellent condition. As the Glasgow assay office closed in 1964, items such as this are sought after. Approximate measurements: Length: 12.3 cm, 4.8”; Weight: 16.3gm., 0.57 ounces.
