Description: Original antique chromolithograph print circa 1880 of Scone Palace, Perthshire, Scotland, the seat of the Earl of Mansfield. The illustration, printed onto heavy gauge paper (more like card) has been carefully extracted from a no longer usable dis-bound antique book. Also included is the additional original historical background text that accompanied the print (see photographs). Measurements: Including border - approximately 10.5" x 7.5" (270mm x 190mm) Actual illustration - approximately 7.5" x 5" (195mm x 125mm) Condition: Very good condition for age (approximately 140+ years old). Some light foxing/marking in borders. No creases or tears. Reverse of print is blank. Will look superb framed. Provenance: Picturesque Views of Seats of Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland.
