Description: This is an original New Old Stock example of the headlight wiring harness for the Schwinn Sportlight 6-volt generator set, Schwinn part number 04 124. This runs from the bulb socket side terminal of the Sportlight headlight to the base terminal of the generator driven off the left side of the rear tire, and was originally supplied in the Schwinn Sportlight generator set (Schwinn 04 115), made for Schwinn by Union of West Germany. (No other parts are included.)The wire is about five feet long, more than enough to reach from end to end of the bike frame. (Route the wire from front to back, starting at the socket terminal inside the headlight, and wrap the excess around the rear frame stay before making the final connection to the generator.) This is compatible with any vintage 6-volt, 3-watt bicycle generator set using standard 3/16" or M4 connection terminals, or just snip off the generator terminal as needed if stranded connections are used instead. Notes: Generator and lights not included.
