Description: This scarce 1920s paper label “Padilla" 50 cigar tin, measuring 5 1/8” x 4 5/8”, is in good condition with no rust or debts and some minor age related paper scrapes and discoloration. The label has an overlap because of an apparent factory error. This very attractive white tin features a detailed multicolored image of Juan Padilla (1500-1542) who was a Spanish Catholic priest who went on many explorations of North America with Våsquez de Coronado. The tobacco was manufactured by the L. Brotchiner Tobacco Company, Chicago, IL in /factory 1010, 1st ////district, IL.
