Sarah Hoffmeister, a rising young star of the 2000s, has appeared in modern-day television classics such as 2 Broke Girls starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, The Middle starring Patricia Heaton, the compelling true-crime series Blood Relatives narrated by Brenda Strong, the fan-favorite episode "B-O-N--BONFIRE" of Speechless starring Minnie Driver, and the memorable episode "Broken" of the first responders drama series 9-1-1 starring Angela Bassett and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Recently, she landed a co-starring role alongside Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas in the inspirational motion picture The Secret: Dare to Dream, based on the best-selling novel of the same name. Undeniably one of the most pivotal characters of The Secret: Dare to Dream, Hoffmeister's Coca-Cola drinking, taffy-making Missy transforms from a moody teenager into an optimistic, understanding daughter to screen mother Katie Holmes. In fine black Sharpie, Sarah Hoffmeister signed her name beautifully on the sweet spot (pun not intended) of the wrapped taffy. In no way are we implying that Miss Hoffmeister actually made the candy herself, nor are we saying this is a prop from the film, although the latter could be possible. In any case, only a dozen or so of these were signed, so be sure to grab one before they're all gone! And yes, Sarah Hoffmeister does love taffy, even off the screen!
