Full disclosure I have three of these and they do not keeping "swirling" 24-7 7 days a week.This light does swirl for at least 24 hrs as I left it in overnight but after about 30-40 hrs the glitter did eventually slow down it's movement and gathered towards the top. Once I shook it again it was good for another 24 hour+ round. I tested three that I have and they all responded the same so I think it's just the nature of the product. Also discovered that if you shut it off the glitter will settle and need a shake again. I used to sell the vintage "bubbler" ones that are banned now because of a danger of breakage and harm because of the danger of the glass breaking and, I believe, alcohol in the "liquid". These newer ones are much safer but the draw back is the liquid it's suspended in isn't the same so continuous vigorous movement isn't as great as the now "band" type but still a good trade off for safety.
