Both shells feature the rare, original Alexander Girard original diamond fabric, Millmosaic. The shells exhibit age appropriate wear, notably surface soiling, fabric fading and creasing, and snags on the fabric, which could use a good steam cleaning or conditioning. The foam is petrified with age and is no longer as soft as it once was and consequently the seat pad is firm throughout. These are all reflected in the deeply discounted price. The seams are still tight, as are the rubber bumpers/piping. The cream parchment molded fiberglass shell is in great vintage condition with no cracks or integral damage. Shock mounts are intact and original.
