All leather items are cut from complete full cowhide sides and are heavy, thick bridal leather quality 8-10 oz. leather. You should not accept any less for durability and wear. We do not use pre-cut or pre-made items for use or re-sell to the public. After cutting, the pieces are crafted in our leather shop for proper design, completed, and checked twice for quality, durable construction.
