Great also for Bonsai - most other soils I have seen are filled with organic content that is great for growing vegetables but not succulents !! - Soil is very dry for shipping so add small amount of water before using ! - This type of soil mix is great for the plants you paid a lot of money for and want to make sure they have the best chance of surviving to old age ( yours and theirs ) - I use this type of mix for all my plants now including my very expensive Conophytums, Euphorbias , Lithops , Haworthias and Ariocarpus - Also works well for hanging basket plants - It has a minimum of dust and no organic content - a great base material to make soil for just about anything - Dust is the enemy of your plant's root systems - I filter out as much as I can - Roots need to breathe to be healthy - Soil is very dry for shipping so lightly add moisture before using - Soil is easy to recycle - just filter out dust and fine particles with a piece of window screen over a piece of welded wire screen - You can add up to 10% to 30% organic mix to this soil once you get it if you want to extend the volume some depending on your watering habits and what kind of plants you are using it for - I choose not to have any organic to protect from my own overwatering habit - I do not guarantee this to be a cure - all for overwatering or any other problems you may have but my plants love it and do great - if you are used to using a high organic soil this soil type may require more water for hot weather - especially in a dry climate zone - this soil type also requires a bit more fertilizing if you do not add any organic content - I think it can work for you - You can also extend the volume by adding any other grit you may have ( such as coarse sand , crushed rock , pumice , fish tank gravel , decomposed granite , vermiculite , chicken grit etc.) to the total volume before using - sorry no international shipping available
