Description: Wonderful and Rare Russian Soviet Cartoon Character Cheburashka, this toy was created after a book written by Eduard Uspensky in 1965. The book called "Crocodile Gena and his friends" According to a creator of the character Cheburashka is an animal of unknown science with large monkey-like ears. He accidently falls asleep in a crate of oranges and was delivered to a grocery store where the rest of main story unfolds. Cheburashka is 7" tall and 8.5" wide, made from a brown fur and hard plastic face, was made circa 1975-1980s. All authentic, great vintage condition.
