Royal Doulton is no longer a family business, but it has a “family” of English brands that having merged with Minton in 1968 and gaining Royal Albert from the merger with AEP in 1971; and in 2005 these historic names became part of the Waterford Wedgwood group. Hence there are Royal Doulton ID stickers on Royal Albert China. Some stickers have been damaged due to water, so boxes have been destroyed leaving these pristine pieces. They are all NEW, so gold and colourings are pristine! This is a rare set. I have never seen this before on the transition to Royal Doulton!
