Description: Circa 1930, this Roseville Pottery Imperial II vase, shape number 478-8", stands 8" tall, has an inside rim opening of 4.5" and is approximately 6.5" in diameter. Two open handles, it is finished in a gold and brown colored glaze. Ribbed towards the bottom, it is in factory original condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Marked on the base "477", this is shape number 478-8" and the same shape can be found on page 142 in Introducing Roseville Pottery by Mark Bassett.
