Description: Circa 1905, this Roseville Pottery Crocus vase is 9" tall and is 3" in diameter at the widest point. Attributed to Frederick Hurten Rhead, it is finished in a very dark green colored glaze and decorated with stylized blue flowers on stems. In excellent original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. As pictured, marks include "5" on the base and the same shape in a different glaze can be found on page 96 in Introducing Roseville Pottery by Mark Bassett.
