Description: Rogers Smith & Co New Haven Conn. #1580 Antique 5 piece Silverplate Coffee/Tea Set. The set has a pedestal bottom, hinged lids on coffee & teapot and a single flower on top of each lidded piece. There is a raised design on the body of each piece consisting of floral, vines and leaves. There is gold plating to accent the design and significant wear to the gold plating. There is also a good amount of tarnish which I have intentionally left. I have used a polishing cloth in spots to demonstrate that the pieces do polish up nicely.
