Description: You are bidding on a vintage Riviera Mauve Blue Juice Pitcher. Riviera juice pitchers in the mauve blue glaze are seldom seen. Unfortunately, this example is in "as is' condition. This is the way I purchased the pitcher years ago. I will describe the flaws in detail below. On the top rim of the pitcher there is an 1 1/2 by 1/2 area that has been broken and has had the pieces re-glued. There is also a hairline extending to the bottom of the pitcher, from that same area. The unglazed foot appears to have been ground down, by some sort of grinding tool. It is very smooth to the touch. I have shown all these flaws in close-up photos. The glazing on this piece is a deep, even shade of mauve blue. It is a shame this piece has the damage. However, this piece still possesses excellent display qualities. I will ship the next business day after payment is received. Buyer pays only actual shipping costs.
