Description: Rough Dimensions: 2-7/8” diameter & 2" tallMakers Mark: Hand inscribed on the flat base, “Richard Olma 5/90 Freedom Series 126/5000”.Provenance: originally for sale at a retail glass decor gallery in downtown Chicago which closed in the early 1990s. It retains its original price tag. It is no longer $65, like it was originally. Condition: Minor shelf wear to the flat polished base. Tiny ding on top. a few minor scratches that might even be inside the glass. (It is very hard to photograph this piece.) There are definitely bubbles, small and large, inside the glass. A special paperweight celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall with an encased piece of the wall in clear glass. It is numbered 126 of 5000, and was made in May of 1990 (5/90). I am having difficulty reading the word after Freedom, which seems to be the title. And the artist's name, Richard Olma is here, too. I nearly went blind trying to read these tiny etched by hand words. It was impossible to photograph without the reflected lights &/or glare. Please look at all the photos and read everything I've written about the condition and description of this item.
