Grading scale: MINT (M)The CD itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The insert is in perfect condition. CD's advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be mint unless they display storage difficulties such as shrink strain, warpage, water damage etc. EXCELLENT (EX)The CD shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The insert and packaging might have slight wear and /or creasing. (N.B: US Goldmine grading system uses Near Mint (NM) as an equivalent grade) VERY GOOD (VG)The CD has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the insert without any major defects (tears etc) is acceptable. GOOD (G)The CD has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. The insert and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, discoloration, etc. It is very rare we would purchase such CDs unless they were genuinely important and or collectible. FAIR (F)The CD is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even skip.The insert will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR (P)The CD will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The insert will be badly damaged or partly missing.
