Description: I have rebuilt over fifty AO-28 preamps using the Trek CPR-28 rebuild kit. So, I know how to properly restore these preamps. The CPR-28 is a complete restoration kit that replaces every single resistor, capacitor and passive component with a new high quality replacement. This restores the preamp to a factory spec preamp. This preamp also includes all vintage tubes that test NOS on my Amplitrex tester. Every function works perfectly as it should. Obviously so since all components are new. This CPR-28 restoration kit alone, with tax and shipping is over $500. The vintage, tested tube set is worth $100, So I’m only charging $400 more for the preamp and my rebuild labor.
