Measurements: 68" on the skin side down the spine of the skin 65" on the skin side across the middle of the skin Weight: 34 lbs. Notes on hide: Short hair length except for mane which is a medium length. Coloring is uniform throughout hide. Backing is thick but flexible. Two areas missing hair near the sides. 3-4" in length. Two 3" holes near the top and side. Some small holes near top and bottom of hide. This buffalo hide came from a ranch-raised U.S. buffalo that was raised for food. The buffalo was not killed just for the hide. Genus and species: Bison bison. Ranch. USA.
