In my opinion, it does not appear to have been used. The remote control is an aftermarket replacement which has been verified to be working with this unit as it was missing the original remote. Please take notice that this unit is designed for the "DTVLINK" and has a 1394 port aka "Firewire" IN/OUT. You may be able to use this with other set ups with a 1394 (Firewire) to HDMI and/or USB adapter which can be found on Amazon for under $10. Shipping: “next business day” shipping can mean that if you order something on a Friday; there is a chance we may not ship it until Monday. There is also a really good chance we may ship it on Saturday via USPS ONLY especially if it is a smaller item under 8"x6"x4".
