Description: RBAV Vest Size: Small. Fits a 33 to 37 inch chest Condition: Like new. This is a vest I bought a while back and am now selling after only wearing it to try it on. It was sold to me new and I had to assemble it as you see in the photos. This vest is military surplus and would have been used by either the Navy or the Marine Corps. It uses a cummerbund system to put the vest on which provides a good fit that is adjustable to a degree. The Velcro is strong, the MOLLE is tight, and the cordura material is clean. The RBAV takes BALCS cut soft armor but has compartments for plate armor on the front,back, and sides as well. The side plate compartment (the photo with the tabs that look like bungees) also can serve as magazine pouches but it is a really tight fit. Vest is comfortable with mesh that allows for breathability and padded shoulders to ease the burden. There is a quick disassembly pull tab on the front that allows for disassembly in an emergency. An elastic waistband is also present to make the vest fit a little bit tighter. Overall it’s a vest built to military specifications which means it has a degree of reliability to it that most commercial vests won’t have.
