Description: In the late 1970's and early 1980's, Wedgwood pottery carried an Egyptian line of Jasperware. It was black basalt with gold decorations. For sale here, from an older Denver estate, is a 3 3/8" (11cm) black basalt pin tray featuring a pair of gold African crocodiles from that collection. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Please look at the 4 photos as they perhaps can better describe this piece than I can using words. Wedgwood basalt pieces like this are hard to find. This tray would make an excellent addition to any Wedgwood collection. I have liquidated estates for over 40 years.
