Description: RARE Watchmakers Topping (Rounding up) Tool 2 Very rare, very beautiful and very collectible watchmakers topping/rounding up tool, used to work on wheels teeth. !!! It has slides with micrometer adjustments on all 3 axes (very rare find), most of the similar tools have slides with micrometer adjustments only one 1 or 2 axes !!! !!! It is made from zinc (very rare find), usually they were made from brass !!! All parts are rust free and all of the steel parts are covered in low viscosity oil to prevent future rust and corrosion. The tool is in working condition and has various accessories included (as seen in the pictures).20 various cutters, 4 axles to hold the wheels with (all steel) and 12 brass accessories used to hold the wheels flat when working (not always necessary though). I tried to take various clear pictures to show the beautiful condition, but it looks better in person.Several steel screws have blue/purple polish on them, all parts are clean and the tool itself and all its levers and adjustments work very smooth. Not only it works smooth and very precise, but it also looks like a jewel. Some extra line and a small bag of silica gel (to further protect the contents of the box) are also included.A reprint document with details, features and accessories of a similar tool is also included.
