Description: RARE Vintage PT Tirschenreuth Bavarian Porcelain 10” Bowl Yes, I combine domestic shipping! Please pay attention to the photos because they make up most of the description! This listing is for a beautiful, rare, vintage porcelain bowl. My research shows it was made by the Porcelain Factory Tirschenreuth of Bavaria. The bowl has the under glaze stamp of the coat of arms emblem for this company with the initials P. T. on the bottom of the bowl. I do not know how old this bowl is. I’ve been told that the stated stamp was used between 1927 and 1954. This bowl had belonged to my late mother and she remembered seeing it in her grandmother’s house when she was a child. I’m not sure which grandmother it was, but both of her grandmothers were born in the 1800s and one of them was from Germany. Please note that Bavaria was once a part of Germany. There is also some writing on the under glaze bottom portion of the bowl. I cannot make out what it says but it looks like some numbers and an initial of some type. I’m assuming that this is the mark of the artist (see photos). The bowl appears to be hand painted. The bowl has a curved handle that curves into the inner top edge of the bowl. The bowl has a rose floral pattern that is very intricate. It also has metallic gold colored highlights on the rim and handle. The colors and patterns are crisp and vibrant. The bowl has an overall light green hue to it. This beautiful bowl is 10 ½ inches wide (at its widest point). Its base is about 6 inches in diameter. It is 3 ½ inches tall at its highest point which is the handle area. The bowl itself is about 2 ½ inches deep. Please understand that I am in no way an authority on porcelain or china products. However, I will do the best I can to answer any questions you may have. Condition: Please pay attention to the photos because they make up a lot of the description. This item has minor wear marks, scratches, tiny cracks and/or chips and blemishes that are typical of an older, used item like this. Please note that the color on your computer screen may not be set on the same color settings as mine which is typical for anything being sold on the Internet. Therefore the colors and hues that you see in my photos may not exactly match what you would see on the item if you are looking at it in person. I’m a retired police photographer and I’ve tried to do the best I can to match the variations of the colors in my photos with the real items I’m selling. When I ship this item it will be well padded with bubble wrap, placed in a box and then padded again and placed inside a second box. This item, when shipped, will require a signature when it arrives. My wife and I have shipped thousands of items across the globe and on only a couple of occasions have had anything damaged in transit. I package things very well. Please feel free to ask questions. We will try to answer them the best that we can. Thank you and God bless! SHIPPING: I combine shipping for items sold at the same time with the exception of items that will make the package too large to be mailed in one box. I try not to make a killing on postage and handling and I try to be fair (I have even lost money on postage). I package items very well. I do not take responsibility for damage caused by improper handling and shipping. Fragile items are placed in a bag prior to boxing and/or padding to prevent the chance of small parts coming off during shipping (due to rough handling) and then getting lost in the box or packaging. Foreign Country Shipping: INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WILL HAVE TO USE THE “EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM”. THIS IS MAY BE EXPENSIVE AT TIMES. HOW IT WORKS IS I SHIP YOUR PURCHASE TO THE EBAY GLOBAL CENTER ADDRESS THAT EBAY PROVIDES ME AND THEN EBAY SHIPS TO YOUR COUNTRY. I CANNOT SEND INVOICES WITH COMBINED SHIPPING OR ANY EBAY GUIDED OPTIONS. EBAY HANDLES ALL OF THIS. So, all international orders have to be shipped separately and cannot be combined!! Please remember to be aware of any added taxes or customs charges you may have to pay in your own country. Also, as stated in my listings, you are responsible for paying the postage for any returns and I'm not responsible for any damage due to the extensive shipping and travel time!! Items damaged due to shipping will not be an excuse to return them! Items can only be returned if you can prove that they were not as listed. Sorry to be so legalistic, but I’ve been burned a few times. PHOTOS: I try to provide good photos of all my items so you can have a very good view of what you are purchasing. Note: Sometimes I’ll place a ruler or a familiar item, like a dollar bill, in the photos. These are placed there for scale only (they are not included with the purchase). Returns: Items have a 30-day money back guarantee, (from the day you receive them). Items must be returned in the exact same condition as they were sent, or they will not be accepted as a return. Any item that was in original “factory sealed”, shrink-wrap can only be returned if shrink-wrap has not been removed or the factory seal(s) have not been broken! All our items are sent to you well packaged and should be returned in the same manner. (Especially fragile items or items containing small parts). Return postage will be your responsibility, unless you have first made arrangements with me. Artwork or items sold “as is” cannot be returned unless you can show me they were not described properly. (Duplication of our artwork is not permitted without written, signed permission from the artist)! Remember, used items are just that, used items (I don’t sell abused items unless they are being sold and listed for restoration, or as parts). I do my best to describe the conditions of my items in an honest manner. I don’t take responsibility for consequential damage, so I advise that you check your items soon after receiving them. My goal is happy customers so don't hesitate to communicate with me! I’m glad to answer questions. I hope you enjoy bidding on our Items. Thank you and God Bless! Daniel Hedges
