Have not tested with ThreadWhen Plugged in, the foot petal does operate the motor and the parts turn. There is not a belt to be able to turn the machine, but it does seem to move freely. I have not attempted to sew anything with it. The light shade is broke. The plastic that holds the plug has split and is broken. See photos for details of condition.
