RARE VINTAGE GALLET SILVER CUSHION CASE ONE BUTTON CHRONOGRAPH

Description: DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:Potentially the earliest example of a Gallet chronograph wristwatch intended for use as a wristwatch (not a conversion). Early and rare, circa1920, silver cushion case, triple signed Gallet sinlge button chronograph powered by the Minerva 13.20 movement. The watch measures 34mm x 34mm (without the lugs). Case back number: 364891 with additional number 31 stamped below which matches number stamped on the corner of the center case. The watch has been serviced, is running and the chronograph function works correctly. The case remains unpolished and as found - allowing the next owner the option of polishing or not. The original enamel dial is "battle scared" with obvious chips and hairlines. The crystal is acrylic. The watch uses female spring bars. Please feel free to message with any further questions.
