Description: Rare vintage "King Prancer" spring rocking horse / bouncy hobby horse made by Delphos Bending Company in Delphos, Ohio. To the best of my knowledge this dates to the late 1950s. Similar, much more common versions appear around 1962-1964. However, these appear to be slightly different and less sculpturally detailed suggesting they may have been made from a re-posed or modified casting from this older mold. Measures approximately 35" long, 34" tall and about 21" wide. The horse itself measures 23" tall and about 6" wide, 12" with the handles. In excellent used condition. Obviously some paint wear from age and use but in sturdy condition with no chips or cracks. The unpainted frame and springs have a bit of surface rust but are still sturdy, functional and quite bouncy. Three tube caps are present. These look original to the piece but are honestly not different for what one could likely buy new today. Available for local pickup or delivery within a reasonable distance. Willing to ship & if not sold locally in short order, I will be taking the base apart to reduce these costs and adding automatically calculated shipping options.
