Description: This is a hard to find vintage 1960s ceramic Long Necked Trixie Poppet lamp light - she is 12 inches in height. She is impishly-adorable with her blue eyeshadow and long eyelashes. There is no plug or lighting "guts" with this piece, but a lighting kit can be purchased at most larger craft stores for restoring. You can also use a battery operated tea light or fairy lights to achieve a glow, it makes for great ambiance or a night light. The plastic covers on the lantern are painted with fluorescent pink paint, this paint glows under a black light. One of the lantern's plastic covers is broken. But this makes it easy to place some fairy lights into the lantern. There is also a hole in the base where you can fit a battery operated tea light, this is what I have done in one of the photos. This makes an adorable display piece, she has a few flaws, but don't we all. She is missing the dried flowers from her hand, but that is easy to replace as the hole still remains...and she still looks great without the flowers in hand. The ceramic is in good shape, but the one leg has been broken in the past and repaired (shown in last photos), it isn't very noticeable and seems to be an older sturdy repair. That just shows how much love was given to this piece as someone wanted to save her and not just toss her out. No other major flaws to the ceramic on this piece. Japan sticker is still partially seen on the bottom. Please ask any questions. Thank you.
