Rare Type 1 Variation ORIGINAL LIONEL 6464-1 WESTERN PACIFIC BOX CAR

Description: This rare Type 1 variation original Lionel 6464-1 Western Pacific box car is a must-have for any serious model railroad collector. The type 1 variation has the 4 ribs inside which are pictured in my photos. This is a very hard car to find with Doyle’s book putting rarity 7 out of 8. I don’t go by the book prices as that was when the market was at its peak. This boxcar is in decent shape. No crack or broken tabs. It does have some scratching and some rust on the frame which should clean up. The only one harder to find than this is red letter variation which I will have listed up as soon I I find the bin it is in. This has the correct 4 ribs on the inside and the correct second column of rivet breaks. See the book description picture for more info on this hard to find postwar piece.
