Description: Rare Seiko Stainless Non-Integrated Strap Case SBQK025 8F32-0140 Perpetual High Accuracy Quartz Watch Condition: Pre-owned; Good to Very Good Condition Dimensions: Approx. 36mm diameter excluding crown, 42mm lug-lug, 10mm thick; 19mm lug width Accessories: 19mm used black leather strap; No box/paper/tags Notes: You are bidding on a Rare Seiko Stainless Non-Integrated Strap Case SBQK025 8F32-0140 Perpetual High Accuracy Quartz Watch. Based on the serial, this unique dress-sports watch dates to September 1998. The SBQK025 is an uncommon model as most of this series featured integrated stainless bracelets. The watch houses a high end Cal. 8F32 perpetual calendar quartz movement accurate to 20 seconds per year with date complication. For setting instructions you can check the Youtube video on how to reset it, but any watchmaker can properly change the battery when it indicates it is running low by skipping seconds to avoid the reset; the perpetual calender needs no setting other than daylight savings. A few scratches on the polished case and snap caseback; still in good shape. The domed crystal is free of deep scratches. The classic white dial with arabic hour marks is in good condition; some light patina around the date window with an integrated magnifier; hour marks and hands in great shape. Unsigned stainless crown in very good shape. Battery was changed a couple years back; should last another 6-8 years. Water resistance is 100m but the watch has not been pressure tested. The used 19mm waterproof black leather strap is not original to the watch; does fit my 7.5 inch wrist well; would recommended a new strap for larger wrists. No box/paper/tags. This was a high quality watch with a 33,000 Yen list price and feels well built on the wrist with a thin and light profile.
