Description: Rare Royal Copenhagen Art Nouveau dish with mermaid and fish. Mermaid is unusual with a strong face and the painting is so superb that the water seems almost translucent and you can see the ripples of the waves and her strong arms under her streaming blue hair. Measures 22 cm / 8 2/3 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Please see pics taken from all sides. Beautiful shades of white, soft blue, pale gray and a hint of grayish-green. This is a really rare piece, especially in such beautiful condition and with such lovely color. First quality.
