Description: For auction is a beautiful antique / vintage Red Wing Minnesota / Union Stoneware Company 1 gallon Mason Fruit Jar. First off, this jar has no lid/cap, it was from an old estate and found with no lid. The bottom is marked with a patent date of 1899. The jar as far as I can see has no damage to note. I cannot see any cracks, chips, or repairs. The lip and threads on the opening look to be very good as well. This jar looks to be in pretty darn nice condition, it does have various factory imperfections as they all do. The label on the front is blue. The jar measures 10 inches tall and about 7 1/4 inches diameter across the bottom. Im not a stoneware / pottery expert, so if there are any questions, or more information needed, please ask.
