Description: RARE Pendleton 🟩🟦🟫🟨 Colorblock Mid Century Woven Wool Blanket Throw Fringe I have been holding on to this AMAZING Pendleton blanket for several years. I have found NOTHING even remotely close to this colorblock / windowpane design. But it is fabulous!!! The colors, the pattern are the most mid century modern I have seen from Pendleton. The tag suggest a manufacture date of 1965 or later. I would describe the wool yarn colors as: turquoise, royal blue, chartreuse, green, olive green, mustard yellow, rust, and brown.In the photo with the close-up label I am attempting to show the blanket is a continuous front to back weave technique - so it is a double thickness, and both sides are a primary design. Incredible attention to detail in visual design and production. I have gone over this blanket very carefully looking for any minor flaws-typical for a wool blanket of this age. I have photographed every one I could find. They are pretty hard to find unless you are really trying. This blanket has been/will be stored in my non-smoking home linen closet.
