Description: Rare store display! Miss Curity Nurse advertisement doll made of hard plastic. She would have been set on a stand (but does NOT come with one) and her feet have holes in the bottom with broken off wooden dowls where they had been affixed to the stand (as well as some residual glue from affixing her feet). This 19" hard plastic doll was made in the 1950's as a counter display for drug stores. Miss Curity's name is printed on her front pocket and her starched white nurses cap. Introduced as the mascot for the Curity/Kendall Company, she was touted as "The First Lady of First Aid" and used as a marketing tool for it's first aid supplies for more than half a century. Please Note: The doll has some scuffs and wear areas from all the years, the glue from where her seams were put together has yellowed over time some of the paint from her lips/eyes/hair has worn off. Most importantly to note, her right ankle was at some point, broken and then reglued. All of these conditions are carefully detailed in the contained photos. Please see ALL PHOTOS as they are are a part of the description; she is being sold as is. Even with the repair to her ankle, she is an amazing and rare find, with few still around anymore.
