All designed, hand set and hand crafted by Frank Hess. True works of art! Frank Hess was the jewelry designer for Miriam Haskell from 1926-1960. Measurements: necklace measures approximately 16.5" long; dress clip measures approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". INTERESTING PROVENANCE: This set was purchased at an antique store in New York. The purchase included many pieces of Miriam Haskell jewelry including this rare, lovely rhinestone suite. The woman who owned this jewelry was 100, but used to work in the jewelry department at high end retailer Addis Company Department Store in Syracuse, New York and possibly other high end department stores in Syracuse as well. After 63 years as one of downtown Syracuse's top retail destinations, Addis closed in 1992, three years after they merged with the Dey Brothers Department Store.
