Description: Rare large and thick deep red fossil Megalodon shark tooth. Recovered in South Carolina. Obviously incomplete tooth. Good preservation. Solid root with dinged corner. Good bourlette. Shiny enamel with significant loss on lingual side. Visible serrations with some nicks. Dinged edge. Tip has feeding nick. Solid and heavy tooth. Beautiful deep copper-red and green colors! Measures approximately 5.48" L x 3.06" W (and 1.22" thick). See photos for condition. Enamel appears to have been buffed as is commonly done. From a South Carolina estate collection.
