This is a very rare specimen as the largest oysters (Pacific) are rarely found exceeding 10". This awesome collectible measures 12.5" long by 7" at the widest point. Inscribed inside the shell is "Elmorr Oyster Co (no longer active) Nov 18, 1956" also inscribed is what appears to be IC 18451, no idea what this may refer to. The shell is in awesome condition for the age, some flaking naturally occurs. Finding both top and bottom to this oyster shell adds to it's rarity.
