You’ve stumbled upon one of the many Disney collectibles I’m selling on behalf of my Disney-power couple aunt and late-uncle. They’re recent WDW retirees with nearly 50 years of combined, dedicated service to the company. Beginning mid-September 2022, I’ll be listing items from their collection daily until complete. This award was introduced in the 90’s and discontinued/replaced by the Legacy Award in 2011. Modeled after the famous Partners Statue by Blaine Gibson which stands at the front entry of Disney World, eligibility for this award was only accomplished through nomination by other cast members for going way above and beyond their duties and not all who were nominated won. This was a TOP HONOR and banner achievement for a Disney employee and thus this statue was not available or sold to the general public. My proud aunt & uncle BOTH simultaneously achieved this remarkable honor while working in separate Disney departments (Nursing & I.T., respectively) in the same year, 1998.
