Description: After making his mark as an illustrator at Grey Advertising and BBD&O, a major New York City advertising firm, Craig Tennant, decided to move to the West and focus on Western oil paintings. His talent for depicting detailed scenes of the Old West proved successful, and in 1994, he started his own publishing business, Cheyenne Press. Known for the mesmerizing realism of his cowboy and Native American paintings, Tennant has received numerous awards, including two at Prix de West, the Frederic Remington Painting Award and the Nona Jean Hulsey Rumsey Buyers’ Choice Award.
