Description: This is a Case 1199 SH R SS “Whaler” pattern pocket knife.This knife has been customized - the original handles were replaced with handles made of polished natural stone material.I have not been able to 100% identify the type of stone, but it appears to be petrified wood.This is an amazing handle material, polished to bring out the vibrant colors.The tang stamp is the CASE XX USA 6 dot 1974 stamp.Pattern #1199 Sh R SS “Whaler” rope knife, 4-1/8” closed.Blades has strong snap, half stop, no wobble.The handles are perfect.A mint knife - never carried, used, or sharpened, each blade has the original factory finish and edge.No box - will be shipped with the felt knife slip shown.
